FANTASIA – Design Criteria

Fiberglass lamination of the hull and deck shall be in accordance
with the highest standards of marine practices, to exceed Lloyds
specifications.

All
structural bonding, joinery, electrical wiring, fittings, hardware,
and other marine details shall conform to the highest standards of
marine practice, and to the architect's plans and specifications.

Standing rigging shall be of stainless steel throughout and to
conform to the architect's specifications as minimum standards.

Sails shall be of first quality and shall conform to the architect's
sail plan.

Spars shall be of aluminum and of a section and construction as to
conform to the architect's specifications.

Electrical system shall conform to the architect's wiring diagram
and shall include (12/110 Volt) appropriate lights throughout,
outlets, and 110 Volt shore connection.

All
trim, interior and exterior, including hatches shall be of oiled
teak. Cabin sole shall be teak throughout.

Pressure water system shall be installed in accordance with the
architect's piping diagram.

Fuel
and water tanks shall be fully baffled and installed in accordance
with the architect's tankage and piping diagrams.

A
diesel engine of approved make shall be installed in accordance with
manufacturer's and architectect's installation diagram.

Emergency tiller steering shall be installed in accordance with
architect's plan.

Specifications may be
modified, or deleted, subject to availability of parts, materials,
design changes, or cost factors. |
